Ingredients

1 tsp organic cane sugar (or granulated sugar)

1 – 2 drops of water

1 – 2 drops orange, lemon, lavender or melaleuca essential oil (optional)


How You Do It?

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Using the tips of your fingers, gently rub scrub into the clean face. Take care to avoid the eyes. Remove by rinsing with cool water, and pat dry with a clean towel. Add on a layer of oil as a moisturizer, if necessary.

Blueberry and Honey Scrub

Ingredients

1/2 cup fresh blueberries

2 tbsp honey (raw and local is best)

1 – 2 tbsp sugar


How You Do It?

Combine all ingredients in a small food processor, and blend until smooth.  Add a generous layer to clean face, and allow to sit for 15 minutes. Rinse clean with warm water.

Lemon and Sugar Face Scrub

1/2 fresh lemon

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp organic honey


How You Do It?

Add lemon juice and olive oil into a bowl until they mix together. Add the honey and whisk or stir quickly until the ingredients bind together into a medium-to-thick consistency. You can add or subtract the amount of olive oil and honey that you use depending on how thick you want your scrub to be.

You can make from fresh lemon juice, sugar, olive oil, and honey. This provides a simple exfoliating face scrubs recipe while moisturizing. The lemon juice may help brighten the skin. Ingredients

1/3 tsp extra virgin olive oil (moisturizer), (or you can use Shea butter or coconut oil)

1 tsp honey

1 1/2 tsp coffee grinds (helps scrub off dead skin, and exfoliate)


How You Do It?

In your bowl, mix the finely ground coffee beans with the cocoa powder. Add in the milk, stir until it creates a paste. For a thicker paste, use less milk. Fold in lemon juice and honey. Apply to skin and let dry (up to 20 minutes). Wash off and store any extras in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Chocolate Sugar Face Scrub

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/8 cup olive oil

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1/4 tsp vanilla extract


How You Do It?

Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.  Lather generously onto clean face, rubbing gently into the skin for 60 seconds.  Allow setting on the skin for 10 minutes, if desired, then rinse clean with warm water.
