For many people, even if society evolves, marriage remains an institution. It is the consecration of an eternal love. We spend a lot of time organizing the most magical day because it will remain forever in our memories and in our hearts. We know we are about to spend the rest of our lives with the one we love the most, so when we prepare that day, we want to do it well. It only happens once in a lifetime.

Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week

The highlight of a wedding is the bride’s dress. She must be the most beautiful as all eyes are on her and her dress. Many television programs about marriage and dresses are now on air. But it is more interesting and exciting to go to  Fashion Shows that are dedicated to wedding dresses. That is why everyone should be aware of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week.

Yesterday we had the chance to enjoy a moment down there to watch Yolancris. Even if you are not a fan of marriage, you have to go there for the beauty of the show, to admire the result and the time spent by the designers and dressmakers. The models were parading in sublime dresses in a very professional way. Between every acts, there were dance shows with a scenario behind every performance. This well-thought and well-organized event was a pure moment of joy and took place in a beautiful setting near Montjuic.

How to take a good picture by Admin

One of the primary purposes of photography is to allow us to relive the beautiful moments of our life. Time passes by, memory fades but souvenirs persist, thanks to the photos we take.

We all like to capture the moments of our life that seem beautiful, whether it is a place or an encounter. But when we do it, we must do it for ourselves and because it makes us happy to remember these memories. Not for others. Nowadays, especially because of social media, far too many people don’t live for themselves anymore and do not take the time to observe and enjoy the beauty of what Nature has to offer.

How to take a good picture

Our smartphones are glued to our hands and our first reflex is to take a snap or an Instagram story. While, taking a picture is, first, asking ourselves which spot is the most beautiful one. We need to observe and take the picture with our eyes.

Then, therefore, we can look for the light, a natural one preferably, that will make the picture look better. There is also a good time for the so-called Instagram pictures, like sunrises or sunset. Do not hesitate to move, to have shots from different angles. Get closer to the object, the person to photograph or use a lens attachment on your phone. Do not hesitate to play with the subjects, the elements but also with the weather. Not only a portrait on a white background or a sun and a blue sky that will make a photo look pretty.

How to take a good picture

Keep the photo as original as possible, you don’t need to add many filters. Remember that it is pointless to flood your Instagram with photos without real purpose since taking a nice picture means taking a picture that has a sense for you, and only you.

What to wear this Spring by Admin

Spring is a nice season. The season of love as some enjoy saying. Trees are blossoming, people seem to be in a greater mood and in the streets, you can start smelling the great odour of barbecues that makes us feel like we are on holidays. The only cloud on the horizon is the weather indecision, especially here in Barcelona.

Thus, we spend too much time in the morning in front of our dressing room, wondering which outfit we should put on when we know that it will be cold in the morning, hot in the afternoon and why not raining in the evening. We don’t know how to dress up. That is why here, we have selected some basics and must have, that will allow you to save precious minutes in the morning and be trendy during the day.

What to wear this Spring

For the jacket,  we recommend you the unavoidable trench and the suede or denim jacket. These low-risk choices will avoid you getting sick, especially if you go out late at night, but will let you remain stylish. For the top, it is all about floral prints; daisies, roses, you are the one who decides as you have many options. This will allow you to bring a little more fantasy to your look. Opt for the off shoulders top very fashionable and very cute.

Then for the bottom, there are the cropped jeans, a safe bet. However, as you have probably seen in all the shops around, you can also try a stylish but comfortable look by wearing a midi skirt or culotte pants. Feel free to wear stripes or prints and accessorize them with a pair of sneakers or heels to destructure your look.

What to wear this Spring

If you do not have any of these pieces in your closet, we recommend you to run to the closest store and at least buy one of these wonders. Do not forget that Spring is synonymous with colours. And what is trendy this year? The combination of pink and red: the colours of love. Is it a sign? Because we told you at the beginning of this article that this time of the year was the season of encounters.

Cafes in Barcelona that will make you want to study by Admin

Come on guys, the end of the Academic year is just around the corner. But before being able to enjoy barbecues and pool parties, you must end your semester before and pass your exam. We all need a little bit of motivation to stop procrastinating and finally get back to work. But whenever the sunny days are back and that it is much warmer outside, our mind is somewhere else and all we think about is having cocktails on the beach.

There is nothing better than being in a good environment to work. Forget about the classic and boring libraries, where you do not have the right to talk because you will disturb the people who are really there to work and who are not just pretending to. What about a library with a cafe in it? At Laie, in Example neighbourhood, you will be able to enjoy a new concept, thanks to a cafe with a covered terrace within the library. On this last floor, there is a space dedicated to the people who want to meet, relax or work with music and food.

Cafés in Barcelona that will make you want to study

There are always alternatives for the one want to work outside their home or classes. Starbucks? Yes, but so basic and crowded. You need a peaceful area, with wifi, coffee and pastries in order for you to have the necessary motivation. Who knows, you will maybe really love it and will want to work more often.

If you do so, there is also a cafe/office called Coffice. Located near La Ramblas, this concept is unique because you only pay for the number of hours you stay in. There are different formats depending on whether you want to stay an hour or a day and you have multiple choices. Indeed, you can simply go there and sit at a table or book a room for a meeting. Whatever is your option, you will always benefit from free snacks and drinks.

Cafés in Barcelona that will make you want to study

Basically, you can go in whatever cafe you want to. The only problem is that they can be crowded and thus, not as quiet as the two mentioned before. Working in a peaceful environment is essential but you also need to treat yourself to give you some courage and be productive.

Students, workers, no more excuses so go ahead!

Organisation is the watchword. The only way to compare prices and benefit from the most advantageous offers is to plan your trip in advance. Alternatives always exist, some will take you longer to get to your destination but it would usually be cheaper. When it comes to accommodations, think about Airbnb or hostels. A healthy mind in a healthy body by Admin

Easter came and no one skipped the traditional egg hunt. Children and adults have loved eating chocolate; some might have done more than others. While we enjoyed it way too much in Barcelona with the famous Mona de Pascua without feeling guilty, the sunny days are coming back. So the main question that is ringing in our head is: will my swimsuit still fit me?

To prepare our summer body, there is nothing better than doing outdoors activities, whether it is by yourself or in a team. The undeniable advantage for the people living in Barcelona, or for the lucky visitors, is that no matter the physical activity practised, they will always benefit from an incredible view or incredible sites to visit: a great source of motivation.

Whether you would prefer to run, cycle or hike, you will find plenty of places to go to such as the famous Barceloneta and the Passeig Maritim. There is nothing more pleasant than doing sports while feeling the sea breeze in your hair. However, as it is quite crowded in the summer, do not hesitate to look for paths in the heights of Barcelona. Montjuic is a great area thanks to its many green areas, parks and gardens. You will enjoy the view as much as if you want to go to Carretera de les Aigües.

A healthy mind in a healthy body

If you want to exercise with other people, there is still that easy option where you can just go to the beach and play volleyball. But for the people who want to try local activities, they should try the Padel tennis, a sport imported from Argentina but well-known here in Catalonia.

Outdoor yoga is also a great outdoor activity to practice in the Parc de la Ciutadella, near the Arc de Triomf with its fountain and its green areas. Again, it can be crowded and as yoga is supposed to help you to relax, do not hesitate to visit any park around you, they will all be as beautiful and some will surely be more peaceful than others. You can also go to the Serra de la Collsorella a natural park full of history.

Doing outdoor activities will allow you to enjoy the city, discover new places and new people that share your passion. With its 5km of coastline, Barcelona has a wide variety of places you will not know if you don’t wander in the streets. But wherever you are in the world, just remind yourself that it’s important to go outside. It is good for your body and your mind.

That’s also what tourism is: discovering the city without any precise goal.
